Production Technology

Through functional oil embedding technology, it perfectly solves the application problems of DHA algae oil, such as poor bioavailability, poor water solubility, easy oxidation, poor taste, difficulty in premixing, and difficulty in transportation.

1. Emulsification Spray

The commercial production of DHA powder adopts the emulsification spray method. That is, first dissolve the algae oil in the hydrophilic wall material solution, add an emulsifier to make the emulsification uniform, and then spray dry it. In the spray drying stage, the combined fluidized bed adopts a two-stage drying method. The emulsification spray drying method is not only mature in technology but also has good product solubility and dispersibility, long shelf life, and low cost.

2. High Pressure Homogenization

The homogenization process also plays an important role in improving the DHA stability of the encapsulated oil. The essence of homogenization is the vigorous shearing, mixing, and dispersion of heterogeneous mixtures by mechanical force to achieve homogenization and microdroplet/micronization.

After adding the emulsifier, the DHA oil can be homogenized so that the emulsifier and the algae oil are fully mixed to quickly form emulsions and droplets. It not only creates good conditions for the subsequent spray drying stage but also greatly improves the stability of the product.
